We have six of these cameras, with the studio kits (as pictured). Three of them can be connected to CCUs, one with a 100 foot camera cable, and two with 30 foot cables (one cable per camera, they're not daisy-chainable to make longer cables—well, not without a joining connector, which we don't have). Three can be connected using our generic 50 metre camera cables. And all of them can be connected using ordinary coaxial cables with BNC plugs. Five of the cameras have ATW sensors attached to allow continuous auto-tracking white balance (useful for outdoor recordings over prolonged periods). These cameras are suitable for indoor recordings with sufficient lighting (akin to bright office lighting levels, or better), or outdoor recordings.
These cameras are suitable for multi-camera filming of sports, theatre, conferences, community television productions…
For those who're familiar with the F15 cameras, these ones have been workshop aligned properly, every other F15 camera that I've come across has been seriously badly aligned (even when new). Not to mention that most people used them in auto-iris mode, and with the auto-iris preset to open the iris too wide. i.e. F15 cameras can look a lot better than they usually do.
