(timecode and user-bits can be set to any valid value, generator can
run in record-run/pause or free-running mode but has no way to
slave to external timecode nor provide timecode to slave another
generator to it, two indepependently selectable lines to insert
VITC, LTC records onto the second linear
audio channel, time code recording can be turned completely off or
selected for VITC-only or VITC+LTC
operating modes)
